Looking for a concise Kajabi review? You’ve found the right place if you are just starting to explore the world of course creation but have trouble choosing the right platform for your goals.
I have been creating and selling courses that are based on what I have learned. I’ve even made some money doing this. Although it can be difficult, the end result is well worth it. While this includes laying out the materials worth putting out to the public and other stuff like sales, the software/program used plays an equally important role.
Kajabi is the best platform to promote my courses. I have tried a few platforms since I started. And today, I’ll be talking about what it is, how it works, everything in between, and, lastly, my honest opinion after using it for longer. Let’s begin!
For those of you who prefer a more visual experience, here is a video review from Legit Marketing Reviews’ YouTube channel. To get a comprehensive overview of Kajabi, you may still want to check out our article below.
What is Kajabi? Zoom And Kajabi
Kajabi is an online course-building service that has been popularly known for its unique trait as a one-stop platform and the go-to place for all course business needs. If building and selling content for profit is your goal or forte, its outstanding variety of features and tools make it easy to get to whatever you want.
Kajabi allows you to create courses that are based on your skills and profession. However, it is an all-in-one platform, so there’s more to it than what it can offer. With Kajabi’s state-of the-art automation, you can create a membership subscription, host a coaching program, or even run a podcast. You can also send newsletter e-mails directly to your customers.
Kajabi is very easy to use. It’s remarkable that a platform with so many features and knowledge is still easy to use. Kajabi is a platform that I have used many times. I don’t need to know any technical jargon to use its features. No need to do some extra coding, as Kajabi handles the rest for you, saving you time and effort in the long run.
Some course builders don’t have this feature, but Kajabi offers users the ability to create websites to host their content. There is so much potential for selling courses that Kajabi offers many marketing and sales tools to help promote them to a wider audience. This includes checkouts and payments, sales funnels, detailed analytics, and even integrations – all very useful, especially if you sell your content as products for a living.
It doesn’t end there. Aside from making content and selling them efficiently, Kajabi has a rich library of resources and support that you can always fall back into anytime a problem arises. With a huge database of help articles and videos, on-demand training courses with Kajabi University, and a budding community of Kajabi Hero entrepreneurs, you may get to learn a lot of valuable information and even improve how you earn to the max.
From the looks of it, it’s no wonder why Kajabi has been a top pick among many content entrepreneurs. If you somehow don’t believe in it yet, then maybe this Trustpilot rating can convince you – take a look at the reviews and you’ll see more are liking it so far! Zoom And Kajabi
Kajabi was founded more than a decade back and has since helped to build over 100k businesses. It has also managed the creation of 300k+ products, from newsletters to courses, and earned $4 billion in sales. We can appreciate how popular this platform is in course-building. However, there are some glaring omissions like its expensive plans and lack of key features such as certifications.
Kajabi in a Nutshell – How it Works
Ever since I came across this platform, I’ve never been so glad to have Kajabi as my go-to place for promoting the skills I know and selling them to those who are thirsty for knowledge. And to know more about how much I like it, it’s better this way if we dive deeper into how it works.

Essentially, with Kajabi, you get to do a wide variety of ways:
- You can create courses by either building them up from its offering of templates or doing it all from scratch;
- You can create any type of website you like to display your content. It could be your homepage/store, your course content landing page, or a space for customers to visit. Zoom And Kajabi
- Sell any type of product whether they be free as a bonus, charged with competitive one-time payment pricing, or as subscriptions; and
- You can use its marketing, reporting and sales functions to reach more people, from affiliates to sales funnel blueprints.
Kajabi is commonly used in two ways: to build products that will be marketed and sold in a uniquely personalized platform, and to simply create a website to host other types of content and solutions beyond courses.
Kajabi is the reason I personally use it. It allows me to create, host and sell content I feel confident in putting out. Its impressive capabilities have made it a top platform for sharing new information with people from all walks.
Kajabi’s Pricing Plan
Kajabi currently offers three pricing options, namely:
- The Basic Plan, which costs as low as $119/month (billed annually from here onward),
- The Growth Plan starts at $159/month
- The Pro Plan costs $319 per month.
The Basic plan allows you to create three products and three sales funnels. You can also create unlimited landing pages, marketing e-mails and gain up to 1000 customers.
The Growth Tier allows you to explore most of the features, plus upgrades like 10,000 customers, ten administrators for one site, advanced automations and the Kajabi affiliate programme. You can also remove all Kajabi branding and from your website and courses.
Kajabi Pro continues to expand the features of the site with access the code editor. There are also level-up upgrades such as an allowance for 100 products or 100 funnels, 20,000 customers and three websites.
Unfortunately, it does not currently offer a free plan. Kajabi offers a 14-day free trial on all of its plans. So, if you want to give it a test drive, now may be the perfect chance.
Kajabi is often criticized for its high price range. Some platforms offer premium plans at half or even a quarter of the cost of Kajabi’s Basic tier. Those who have encountered Kajabi’s premium plans may find the pricing a bit of a reach, especially for the first time. Based on my experience, however, I can empathize somewhat with Kajabi’s premium plans. It went above and beyond with its services, user experience, and pricing.
Kajabi’s Features – A Comprehensive Breakdown
Kajabi provides a one-stop shop for all your content and business needs. And by that, I mean there’s more than what you can expect. Let’s now take a look at some of the key features of the platform and break them down one-by-one.
Course Creation and Management
The ability to create meaningful course content is at the heart of many full-fledged platforms that specialize in educational entrepreneurship (edupreneurship, if you will), Kajabi included. It’s not always easy to create course content. It takes weeks of meticulous brainstorming to spread the content crafted from hard work to the masses. Zoom And Kajabi

Kajabi understands the struggle many creators often face, so that’s why it took extra steps to ensure that everything goes according to plan, all while easing the difficulties most individuals can relate to. Kajabi provides a space for its users where they can create powerful courses while also having all the tools they need to expand their reach. This includes how to get more subscribers using convincing teasers and sharing what they know with unique ways to keep them coming back.
Courses as Products
According to Kajabi, products can refer to any digital course that you are bound to take. You can also use it to refer to other forms of the course content. Some similar platforms simply refer to these products as courses due to their educational nature. Kajabi on the other hand, understands the importance of the term. It’s not only the amount of knowledge that goes into making a product feasible, but also how it sells to people around the world.
Kajabi currently offers seven types of products. Each product can be used as a template or blueprint that you can immediately generate and modify. One of those is an Online Course in which you’re allowed to create a content-filled course with as many lessons and media files and as much information as possible. Another is a Blank Blueprint, where you can start from scratch and add anything you want.
Kajabi also offers other product blueprints, including the blank template and main course.
- Mini-courses – for whenever you want to produce a quick, easy-to-digest course as a freebie or bonus, something to build extra value for your brand and anticipation for what’s to come
- Evergreen Training, also known as Drip Courses gives you a strategic framework. Course lessons are released regularly, preferably over a number of weeks.
- The Coaching Program is designed by Wall Street bestseller Brendan Burchard. It allows you to create a 12-week coaching program to help you improve your skills.
- Membership – This is for when all of your content needs are met in one platform that your subscribers can access at any time.
- For when you want to make a community where your members can share their thoughts and ideas about your courses, and other matters.
The Course Building Process
Once you have chosen your preferred product template, it is time to start building your course. Add whatever else is needed. You can either start from scratch or adapt an existing template. The best thing is to incorporate all of the knowledge and skills that you have acquired over the years into an information-rich course.
Kajabi’s page for course builders will allow you to explore many customization and editing options. You can add the title and sections of the course to Kajabi’s course builder page, upload a poster or thumbnail that matches your goals, and adjust the flow of your outline.
You can also upload downloadable PDFs and attach media files. Bulk uploads are possible using cloud storage software. You can also use Kajabi’s course creator to create clones and add announcements within your course to keep students interested.
The Course Framework
In Kajabi, the sections that comprise the course are referred to as categories, while the lessons placed under those categories are named posts. A product’s category may contain a placeholder for subtopics that are related to the main topic. Similar applies to posts. The subtopics under the primary topic are replaced by lessons under each one.
Apart from the categories and posts, Kajabi also allows you to add subcategories under the former – this is quite helpful, especially if you have a huge curriculum in mind and you want to dissect it into digestible parts for your students to understand better.
> > Click Here to Check Out Kajabi < <
Kajabi allows you to choose whether the product’s contents are released periodically or simultaneously. In its Drip Courses, especially, you may choose the Drip option to set the release duration of the categories within a few days or even a week from each other. The Lock feature can be used to prevent students from accessing any category until they have completed a prerequisite.
Exploring Kajabi’s Course Player
Every course needs a place that allows them to be seen, clicked, and taken further. It should also be attractive. Kajabi’s Course Player feature is precisely what it aims to be, with an optimized platform to store and present your products to the students that are subscribed to them. You can customize the courses and the course player to create a better learning experience.
Kajabi has over 10 default course player themes to choose from. You may find that most platforms only offer three themes, or one in-store. Comparing that to Kajabi’s larger range will immediately show the difference. It has more options. While Kajabi may seem too expensive for many, we can still appreciate the privilege it offers us. Zoom And Kajabi
Choose any of the course player themes, and you’ll be given the chance to customize it however you want it to look, from the images and colors down to the fonts and graphics. Kajabi values convenience above all else, so you don’t have to know how to code to make your course player look great. You can upload your customized theme if you are more proficient in web design.
Instructor-Student Interactions and Assessments
Communication is crucial to student success and an opportunity to earn the trust of the instructor. Kajabi offers many ways for members and you to interact. One of them is the Community feature, which you may choose to offer as a standalone product or part of the membership package. It works like a social media site where subscribers can post, view who’s online, comment on lessons, and share them. You can manage, hide or disable comments for every lesson.
Assessments are a great way to keep your members interested. This involves creating quizzes that reflect the lessons they’ve learned to stimulate their brains. You can use a variety of questions when creating an assessment. These could include multiple-choice questions or paragraph fill-ins. You may even set a passing score to encourage your students to do better… or don’t at all if you’re not into giving them more pressure.
Although Kajabi’s assessment tool may be impressive, it is quite obvious that it lacks delivery. Compared to other course-building services, Kajabi seems to be one of the few that don’t offer native certification tools. It’s not something I mind, but it may be a problem for those who enjoy giving out certificates. Having this one asset in Kajabi would have been helpful to reward students easily for their achievements such as finishing the course.
Website Building Tools
Aside from course-building, another important aspect of Kajabi is its ability to house powerful yet simple tools for creating a website. Kajabi has a built-in website builder that allows you to create and customize a fully-functioning website of your own without the need to rely on external providers. As expected, the platform provides free hosting on all plans to have your visions come to life!
Although the Kajabi website builder can be very easy to use, there are times when it can be confusing. The drag-and-drop techniques apply to the editor, but it’s not what you would expect – instead of the usual “drag the blocks/widgets from the menu and drop them into the workspace,” you just drag to rearrange sections of a page from the top to bottom on the left-hand menu, and the workspace, once updated, will reflect the change.
Website Design and Customization
With Kajabi’s website builder, you get to select from 14 of its exclusive themes, (eight updated regular themes and six legacy ones) complete with a full set of pages to make your process as smooth as possible. Once you’ve found the theme of choice for your website, you may go ahead and customize it however you want based on your flow or vision. Zoom And Kajabi
This can be done by adding or removing each page’s construction blocks. These include many types of content like text and font styles as well as media widgets, pricing and offers, FAQs and testimonials. You may even incorporate countdown widgets, fill-in forms, social media content, and even call-to-action buttons to catch the audience’s attention.
The customization doesn’t stop there with building blocks, as Kajabi offers a few alternative ways to personalize your website. You can adjust the theme settings tab to make your website more personal or fit the needs of your business. You can change the default typography, icons and color scheme of the site, as well as the background or profile color.
Another option is to upload a custom theme that’s not in Kajabi’s collection, much like with Course Player. Kajabi also lets you connect a custom domain to the website you just made. The platform may already have a default domain prepared for you, but if you’re looking forward to maximizing your business without the Kajabi branding, you can by connecting to a domain purchased from a third-party platform like GoDaddy.
The Types of Pages You Need for Your Website
As already mentioned, a common Kajabi website theme is composed of pre-made pages that link to each other even as you click on them. These include the standard home page which normally contains the gist of what your business or service offers, a library to house all the content you’ve uploaded on Kajabi, a functioning store where users can purchase your products on the spot, and, especially, landing and sales pages to help convince new customers to try out your content for themselves.
> > Click Here to Check Out Kajabi < <
You have the ability to add or delete any page from any Kajabi-optimized template. You have more options than just landing and home pages. These include a log-in page and thank-you screen, portfolio, FAQ and policies pages. You can also create a blog page if blogging is part of your specialty or skill. This allows you to compile all your published posts into an archive that readers have access to at any time.
Blogging Capabilities
Speaking of blogging pages, did you know that Kajabi has a built-in blogging feature that allows you to create posts and publish them for anyone to see? We all know that blogs can be used to post articles related to a variety of topics, even those that may be adjacent to one’s current skill set, right? Well, Kajabi’s version has much of the same purpose.
If you wish to give updates on the products or content you plan to release in the future, share a handful of tips based on what you’ve learned so far in your chosen path as a means to inspire others, or offer search engine-optimized articles to boost your traffic in any way, you may fancy yourself with Kajabi’s blogging tools. Zoom And Kajabi
It works in the same way as other well-recognized blogging platforms like WordPress. You simply type the words you want, the media files and hyperlinks you want to share and the tags you feel are more appropriate for your post. You can choose to publish the post immediately or schedule it to be published later. Although Kajabi’s blogging tool may not be as dynamic as WordPress’s, it is functional enough to be used by anyone.
Marketing, sales, and CRM
In course management, how you market and sell your products can either make or break your brand standing. An effective marketing strategy has a better chance for your creations to gain clout and revenue. A poorly organized strategy can lead to low to no turnouts. Kajabi provides a comprehensive suite of sales and marketing tools that will help you maximize your product’s potential and make it easy to sell. It is also surprising to me that it outperforms other top competitors in this field.
Convenient Sales Pipelines
A well-designed sales funnel could lead to better opportunities for your business, but designing one can be quite a struggle, especially if you’re not that well-versed in marketing stuff. Kajabi’s pre-made, well-designed pipelines are ready to use and customizable. There are 14 templates in total, seven of which are default and seven for legacy templates.
Each one is tailored to your product promotion needs. You may give away freebies to your potential subscribers to keep them interested, show your courses in a way they can be tempted to purchase, coach them, or hold a Zoom meeting. The sales pipeline blueprints have been a huge help in increasing traffic to my content and generating leads.
Kajabi’s collection selling pipelines, like other popular courses platforms, are simple and straightforward. The blueprints are automatically created for you, so it doesn’t take any special skills. A Kajabi sales funnel contains cards, which, in turn, contain pages, automations, and sequences that your customers will be greeted upon.
Marketing by E-mail and Automations
Sending e-mails is a fail-proof marketing strategy that businesses of all types use, whether it be to promote new releases from musical artists or to share updates on new and on-sale items from your favorite retailers. This is also true for courses and other learning material – Kajabi’s integrated e-mail marketing function helps to keep your customers and members highly engaged with what you have released.
There are two types of e-mail campaigns you might want to explore: e-mail broadcasts for whenever you want to send a single e-mail related to your courses to your subscribers (like a newsletter), and sequences where you create messages to be sent based on the user’s activity via automations. Some of you may be familiar with it, but if you have zero knowledge about how e-mail automations work, let me tell you how great of a time-saver it is! Zoom And Kajabi
Automations are generally designed to reduce the workload. In this instance, you won’t need to send e-mails manually as you can set them to correspond to student actions. Kajabi’s email sequencing feature allows you to create messages and choose the time they should be sent. You can also tag subscribers that meet certain conditions and put them into different categories.
You can create e-mails in Kajabi, as well as automations and campaigns. There are many templates available on the platform. The e-mail editor lets you edit the layout the same way as website pages. You can change the order of your building blocks, add sections and even upload images.

CRM for managing members
It can be difficult to manage individuals who have subscribed to your courses. This is especially true if the platform you use for this purpose is not stable. Thankfully, most course management services have functional CRM (customer relationship management) tools that they can rely on to keep your students on track, Kajabi included.
Kajabi’s CRM section (also known as People if you sign-in) allows you to monitor the activities of your members remotely. You can see who bought your products, who subscribed to your membership and track their progress. You can also see who has been inactive longer.
You may also explore one of your students in full depth by checking their profile. This is where you see their lifecycle or how long they’ve purchased your course, as well as detailed info including the time and date of when they first signed in. Kajabi’s People feature can be useful in checking who has performed poorly and giving them a boost with feedback notes and, if necessary, a few freebies to get them back on track.
Kajabi’s CRM features go beyond the People dashboard. Course assessments and affiliate management are included in the bundle. The former has been discussed in detail before, but the latter is something we are about to discover.
Kajabi Affiliate Program
As a way of expanding its reach, a successful business can recruit affiliates. The Kajabi Affiliate Program is only available to Pro and Growth plan users. It provides them with a few resources to help transform their members into trusted affiliates for your brand. Essentially, all it takes is for you to convince your most proactive students to join the program, and they may get a share of your earnings as a benefit!
Kajabi Affiliates will help you build a bigger following. You could also have more chances of generating extra clicks and elevating the conversion rate of your content. If you’re already established in the industry you’re working in, you might find this one practical as you can manage and track your affiliates and how they’re doing to boost your leads and profit from the comforts of a specialized separate dashboard. Zoom And Kajabi
You get to send them links to be shared, see how many clicks those links have received, track the potential sales to your products, and have the choice to kick one out if you’re unsatisfied. You can also create a customized affiliate onboarding page to further encourage your members to sign up, share announcements to boost their morale, and even generate links to any website – not just to Kajabi!
Sales, Payments and Accurate Analytics
Many course management companies take a small percentage, too much, or even half of the profits you make from selling courses. Kajabi, meanwhile, makes sure that the money you earn goes straight into your pocket. Kajabi is my favorite platform because I can keep 100% of the revenue I make from selling my products. This gave me a tremendous morale boost, which I don’t get from other platforms.
While I can understand why they needed to make cuts to maintain their business model, it is a problem for edupreneurs who want to grow and are keen to improve. Fortunately, Kajabi has a solution to further let them grow, even despite the high price range. Apart from the benefit of keeping all your earnings to yourself, you can also manage how you handle refunds. Kajabi isn’t that strict when it comes to this issue, giving its users the chance to do whatever they want – they can either let their members have access to their content even after requesting a refund or otherwise.
Kajabi offers native integrations with the payment gateway outlets Stripe and PayPal. Stripe takes care of primarily credit and debit cards as well as e-wallet providers, and there’s no need to explain further about PayPal since it’s a very common mode of payment online. Take note, though, that you may need to pay service fees to whichever payment gateway you plan to use – technically, you’d have your revenue deducted in some capacity, but not in a major way.
Do you want to get in-depth insight to improve your business? Kajabi’s reporting and analytics features are just two ways you can do this. Analytics provides ratings, charts and graphs to show how your courses are performing so far. You can also explore a variety of reporting options, including net revenue, sales performance, website views, and subscription metrics. All the data from these features can be printed and exported to other platforms. Zoom And Kajabi
Customer Service and Support
Kajabi is more than a great array of features. The platform’s customer support has received a overwhelmingly positive response from those who have used it to do business.
Its customer service hotlines, for example, serve as reliable outlets for people to ask whenever they need assistance on the spot or have any questions in mind. Kajabi’s vast library of learning materials can be used to help you if you are too shy to ask. There’s a lot of helpful stuff for us to go through, so let’s check each one out.
Team of Customer Service Representatives available on-demand
Kajabi’s customer service team is divided into chat support and ticket support. First off, its chat support feature, backed by skilled course creation and marketing experts, can be frequented by users regardless of which type of plan they are subscribed to – the only difference lies in the time of availability. Those under the Basic plan can only access the chat feature during office hours. Growth and Pro users, meanwhile, get to utilize it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can rest assured that no matter which plan you choose, you will receive a prompt answer within 15 minutes. Zoom And Kajabi
You may also opt to submit a request ticket if you’re not up to chatting and don’t want to be distracted anyhow. Simply put in the inquiry you have in mind, the category that you think it’s more appropriate, your e-mail address, and attachments, among other things, and submit all of them to Kajabi. Within a few hours, you will receive an email from the customer service team in your inbox.
Kajabi Help Centre
Kajabi’s Help Center offers unlimited access and allows you to reach out to other people online in real-time. Zoom And Kajabi
Organized into a variety of topics to help you get started, it’s filled to the brim with articles, pictures, and videos, all of which are enriched with invaluable and enlightening information. These include details on how to set up your website, create an effective sales funnel pipeline, and navigate through your account dashboard.

Kajabi Access
Kajabi Access is one of Kajabi’s most recent offerings. It gives entrepreneurs support and guidance to help them succeed in their industry. It is available as an add-on to any existing plan for only $99/month. Although the price is higher than those of the other tiers, we know enough about Kajabi to say that it’s worth it. Zoom And Kajabi
Kajabi Access will allow you to have one-on-one conversations with Kajabi’s experts. However, this is limited to six times per year. You’ll get twice the product and funnel allowances, weekly Hero Hub sessions, early access to Kajabi’s latest features and products, and an additional bonus.
Kajabi University
Kajabi University, which is similar to Kajabi Access and offers a wealth of learning resources that will help entrepreneurs start a business. The former is achieved mainly by intimate meetings with bona fide professionals and notable upgrades. The latter achieves this by allowing you to browse through a rich library informative courses that can be enrolled in at any time. Zoom And Kajabi
Kajabi University’s content is broken down into specific boot camps, how-to guides sets, difficulty levels, as well as niche topics. These courses last anywhere from six to four hours and can be as short as six minutes long. The courses cover a range of topics that Kajabi needs, including a guide for beginners to creating your first lesson and a series of marketing techniques hosted by real-life professionals.
Webinars, meet-ups and a Community of Heroes
Kajabi is a platform that supports the community of people who helped to build it from the ground up. This is something I love about it. It does this in a similar way to how it promotes user convenience and accommodates users to maximize their standing. Zoom And Kajabi
Kajabi provides entrepreneurs from all walks of the business world with a range of opportunities to connect and encourage each other. These include live and on demand webinars that feature talks and discussions from experts and distinguished guests, virtual meetups where Kajabi creators can share advice and connect, as well as exclusive access to Kajabi Heroes’ private Facebook group. Zoom And Kajabi
Speaking of Kajabi Heroes, it’s worth noting that, apart from the online interactions, Kajabi takes it seriously when it comes to giving its user base the best it has to offer – not just figuratively, but literally. Kajabi affectionately calls each customer who uses the platform to achieve success a “Hero.” The Hero Rewards program allows Hero’s to receive gifts and other freebies right at their doorstep once they have reached certain milestones. These include a stationery set, clothing merch, accessories such as bags, reusable cups and mugs, and even honorary badges!
Kajabi’s Pros and Cons
By now, you may already be impressed by the sheer amount of offerings the Kajabi platform provides. It has its flaws, but they don’t overshadow its strengths. Let’s take a look at all Kajabi’s benefits and drawbacks!
The pros:
- It has a sleek and well-organized general user interface, resulting in a robust and fully functional experience for those who navigate it
- It’s convenient, flexible, and almost entirely easy to use – from the course and website building to payments
- It offers free website hosting on top of letting you create a fully-functioning one, something a couple of course management platforms cannot provide
- It houses a plethora of excellent in-house tools from marketing down to user management – this minimizes the need to integrate with third-party apps
- Its customization capabilities can be used to create custom solutions that are both simple and robust.
- It takes zero percent of your profits, and you’d only need to pay service fees to either Stripe or PayPal
- It provides a social media-esque feed where you and your members can interact and communicate with one another
- It shines in its reliable customer support system and information-rich learning resource library
- It prioritizes its user base community over all other features.
> > Click Here to Check Out Kajabi < <
The Cons:
- It has a higher price range compared to other course-building platforms – this is because it follows a different framework and business model that doesn’t resort to burdening the user
- It does not have a native tool for recognizing students. It also lacks assessment features, such as the inability of setting the length of each question or uploading question files.
- Its management feature lacks other essential and advanced tools like SMS marketing, custom tracking for affiliates, and inventory tracking
- Though flexible and easy to use as the interface may seem, some of its functions may be confusing to use at times
Alternatives to Kajabi
It took me many years of research and skillful thinking to find the right course management platform for me when I started my journey into educational entrepreneurship. My marketing and course-building skills have grown beyond what I had when I was a beginner. It was therefore appropriate for me to switch to other services to meet my growing demand. Zoom And Kajabi
Now that I have gained near-expert-level skills, necessities, and budget to keep me going as an edupreneur, I’ve found a place I can call my home in Kajabi. It has been a great resource for me to connect with colleagues who are already well-established and have shared their knowledge with the rest of the world. Kajabi can seem to offer as many tools as you need to increase your chances of success, but it should not be your only option. Some functions may not be right for you, and you shouldn’t have to struggle with them. Zoom And Kajabi
Thankfully, backed with years of experience down the line, I can confidently share with you some very useful alternatives to the Kajabi service. These three platforms allow you to create and sell your content. Take note that, among the three, you might find one that has whatever you’re looking for in a service. To help you make a decision, I recommend that you do additional research on any one of them.
#1: Thinkific
Kajabi and Thinkific are two of the most popular online course management platforms. Known by many for its clever selection of industry-level tools needed to craft a course and cultivate a community, Thinkific has the upper hand when it comes to its beginner-friendly accessibility, making it easier for anyone to try.
Partly, it has a benefit in its plans. Thinkific’s basic tier allows you to create unlimited courses and students at $74 per month. This plan is great for newbies and is a great way to get started in edupreneurship. Although Thinkific and Kajabi offer nearly identical features and can be used by both experts and beginners, there are certain aspects that may make one more appealing than the other.
#2: Teachable
Teachable is another popular service that has a good reputation and a lot of clout. It excels in the creation of enriching course content. You will find a wide range of features that make it a competitive and complete course management tool, such as native certification, drag and drop editing and additional options like one-on-one coaching.
The payment gateway support for Teachable is also diverse, allowing users to add Google Pay and Apple Pay options, in addition to credit/debit and e-wallet. While its dynamic course-building has helped get Teachable to where it is today, it does lack in other aspects, most notably its community-building capabilities. Teachable may be the right match for you if you aren’t bothered by any of these or prefer to concentrate more on course-building.
#3: Podia
Podia is one of a few underrated course-building sites that remains undefeated in terms of user experience and a flexible range of tools. Podia is advertised as a creator-friendly platform. Most people who have used Podia to create and sell digital products find it very easy to use.
Its ability to pack as many features as possible in a very affordable pricing plan has been praised by users. The most premium plan is available for as low as $166/month, which is a fraction of Kajabi’s $119/mo start tier. Podia might be a better option if you are looking to grow your edupreneur following but have limited budget.
Kajabi: The Bottom Line
There is without a shadow of a doubt that Kajabi lives up to its branding as the all-in-one place for managing course content. It surprisingly excels in most (if not all) of the ways you might expect – course-making (to some degree), sales and promoting, websites, heck, even customer support, too!

While Kajabi’s offerings and platform help create an opportunity for dynamic usage, we can’t fully gloss over its limits. It lacks core and advanced tools as well as additional marketing and product management options. This has caused me some problems.
The confusion with the editing layout doesn’t help either. When I explored the website editor for the first time, I assumed it used a drag-and-drop interface until I tried it out and further learned that the interface used is not what I’d expected. Perhaps it was my insatiable desire to use the editor, to the point that I forgot to read the instructions or my recurring practice of dragging and dropping into any editor.
Regardless, there is a fairly slight learning curve in some parts, so watch out! To sum everything up, Kajabi is a great platform to not just build your career from the ground up but also develop and expand into a thriving one. Kajabi.com is the best place to start your edupreneur journey if you are already established or have sufficient resources.
FAQ Zoom And Kajabi
Are Kajabi-made sites reliable and safe to use?
Although I don’t have a lot of experience building websites, I can tell you that Kajabi-made sites are amazing. Not only will your website receive free hosting provided by the platform itself. You will get an SSL safety certificate and Wistia video hosting. It also comes with a user-friendly interface. There are no problems as well when it comes to stability and loading, so I can assure you that you’ll be in good hands!
Is Kajabi open to third-party integration?
With Kajabi, you wouldn’t necessarily have to integrate with third-party platforms as most course-building and marketing tools are housed in one place. If you want to maximize your use, however, Kajabi currently has ten native integrations to third-party apps. This includes Zapier. It also has an API tool that lets you manually connect with other platforms – that is, if you know how to code well.
Is Kajabi offering a mobile app?
Yes! Kajabi currently offers a mobile application that’s available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android. Your members/subscribers can use this app to read texts, view photos and videos, answer your quizzes, and even communicate with you from anywhere. Take note that, while you and your students can access your course materials on the go, you will most likely have limited access in terms of management.
